Cheadle Hulme High School's 2016 examination results have seen us
shoot up the ranks in the Times Parent Power survey.
The annual survey ranks schools by attainment of students at grades A* - B at 'A' level and A*/A at GCSE.
The A level grades are double weighted.
In the list of top secondary state schools, CHHS holds 25th position nationally for comprehensive schools.
This is a fantastic achievement for students and staff and particularly for the Sixth Form,
celebrating only its second set of A level results.

CHHS in Top 5% UK-wide in Progress 8 Results
The new school performance measure 'Progress 8' has shown the outstanding comprehensive
Cheadle Hulme High School in Stockport to be one of the highest performing schools in the country.
Progress 8 is a new secondary accountability measure aimed at measuring the progress of pupils across a selected set of 8 subjects. For a further explanation please see the following video from the Department for Education.
Progress 8 is based on students’ progress measured across eight subjects: English; mathematics; three other English Baccalaureate (EBacc) subjects (sciences, computer science, geography, history and languages); and three further subjects, which can be from the range of EBacc subjects, or can be any other approved, high-value arts, academic, or vocational qualification.
The official performance tables place Cheadle Hulme High School in the top 5% nationally.
This is the highest rating in Stockport and also shows Cheadle Hulme High School outperforming
many schools throughout the region. Looking at Progress 8 across Greater Manchester the
comprehensive Cheadle Hulme High School outperforms all of the grammar schools in Trafford.
